Born and raised in Los Angeles, Melody has always been inspired to celebrate and amplify Latinx voices in cinema.

She has honed her craft through multiple cinema courses such as Advanced Video Production, Editing, Screenwriting, Digital Cinematography, and Single Camera TV Production. This has earned her an Associate degree in Filmmaking and soon a Bachelor's in Media Arts with a focus on Cinematography.
